Close Positions

Learn how to sell or redeem your PMF shares and convert them back to USDC.

Overview​

No event market lasts forever, so if you don't lose you will need to get your money down. That can be done either through redeeming the winning position after the market resolved, or selling early for a lower price than $1.

Redemption​

After trading is over and the market resolution has been confirmed it is time to redeem your winnings.

Check your portfolio for any of your positions that are ready to be redeemed. Then simply click the redeem button and the betslip will pop up.

Redeem Slip

Review the betslip and revel in your glory. Then click the "Redeem Winnings" button to kick off the transaction that exchanges your event tokens for USDC.

The transaction could take up to 3 minutes to be reflected in your account.

Selling​

If you want to liquidate your position before the market resolves you will need to place an order. You have the option of doing a market or limit order just like when purchasing.
