Market Structure

PMF separates product custody, quote authorization, venue execution, basket publication, and operational controls. The separation is intended to protect the vault from stale marks, thin underlying markets, cash drag, and adverse selection.

ComponentRole
VaultHolds pUSD and prediction-market positions; mints, burns, and accounts for shares according to verified quotes and vault rules.
Authorized ParticipantProduces short-lived signed quotes for eligible creation and redemption flow.
SolverExecutes bounded intents against supported prediction-market venues.
NAV reporterReports product NAV state against current vault and basket inputs.
Basket oracleDefines or updates product basket composition.
Manager / adminMaintains product parameters, role assignments, emergency controls, and winddown path.
Trader / holderHolds vault shares or accesses primary flow through AP quotes.

Quote-Gated Primary Access

PMF is not an unrestricted mint/redeem vault. Primary access is quote-gated because underlying prediction-market liquidity can be fragmented, volatile, and capacity constrained. The AP quote boundary gives the product a place to refuse flow when current inputs do not support a fair executable trade.

Product-Specific Infrastructure

Each PMF product can have its own vault, basket route, pricing route, AP signer, NAV reporter, intent committer, and solver role. Product-specific infrastructure means STBL and CHAO can have different capacity, quote availability, and operational state even when they reference the same index thesis.
