Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with PMF Finance in just a few simple steps.

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet​

  1. Visit pmf.finance
  2. Click "Connect Wallet" in the top right corner
  3. Choose your preferred wallet provider (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.)
  4. Approve the connection request

Step 2: Fund Your Account​

Before you can start trading, you'll need USDC in your wallet:

  1. Navigate to your Portfolio page
  2. Click "Fund Account"
  3. Choose your funding method:
    • Bridge from Ethereum: Transfer USDC from Ethereum mainnet
    • Buy with Credit Card: Purchase USDC directly (if available)
    • Transfer from Exchange: Send USDC from your exchange account

We recommend starting with a small amount (e.g., $50-100) while you learn the platform.

Step 3: Explore Available Markets​

  1. Browse the main dashboard to see active prediction markets
  2. Click on any market to view:
    • Current odds and pricing
    • Market details and resolution criteria
    • Trading volume and activity
    • Related PMFs that trade this market

Step 4: Place Your First Trade​

Option A: Direct Market Trading​

  1. Select a market you want to trade
  2. Choose your position (Yes/No or specific outcome)
  3. Select order type:
    • Market Order: Execute immediately at current price
    • Limit Order: Set your desired price
  4. Enter your trade amount
  5. Review and confirm your order

Option B: Invest in a PMF​

  1. Browse available PMFs on the main page
  2. Review PMF performance, strategy, and holdings
  3. Click "Invest" on your chosen PMF
  4. Enter your investment amount
  5. Confirm your PMF investment

Step 5: Monitor Your Performance​

  1. Visit your Portfolio to track:
    • Current positions and their values
    • Open orders waiting to execute
    • Historical performance and P&L
  2. Check the Leaderboards to see how you rank
  3. Set up notifications for important market events
